Replaces Sick Leave Buy-Back portions of policy GCCA and GDC.
Accumulation of leave is unlimited. The district will pay for accumulated *earned leave under the following conditions:
The employee has at least ten (10) years of service with PUSD
Only years of .5 FTE or greater are counted
.25% of their total current agreement/contract amount per 8 hours for up to 640 hours (80) days) of earned accumulated sick leave time. If the employee is a teacher, only the portion of Proposition 301 monies included in the salary schedule would be included in the calculation
50% of the current daily rate of pay for substitute teachers for any hours/days beyond 640 hours (80 days) accumulated earned leave.
*earned leave = career accumulated sick leave days minus donated days.

Entrance to Home Athletic Games
All PUSD employees are allowed to attend any HOME athletic event at Prescott High School with your district/school ID card. You are also allowed to bring one guest. You and your guest must enter through the Pass Gate (near the main entrance of PHS). There is no separate admittance for guests. (If you school has not gotten their new ID cards yet, please bring last year’s ID until you receive your new one.) If you would like to bring more than one guest, they will need to pay to get in. General admission information and game schedules can be found on the PHS Athletics website.
