Kim Barker    Transportation Director

Kim is an Arizona Native who graduated from McClintock High School in Tempe, Arizona. After high school, Kim attended Penn Foster online College, where she pursued a career as a pharmacy technician.

Kim is the mother of three sons, all of whom attended schools within the Prescott Unified School District. In addition to her family commitments, Kim has a variety of personal interests, including photography, reading, and traveling.

Kim has been a dedicated employee of Prescott Unified School District for eighteen years, with the past decade spent in the Transportation Department. For the past five years, she has served as the Director of Transportation.

In addition to her role within the district, Kim serves as the Region 2 Representative for the Transportation Administrators of Arizona, where she represents over 60 school districts across the state.

We are also proud to highlight that, during the 2014-2015 school year, Kim became the first non-educator to receive recognition from the Delta Kappa Gamma Society for Key Women Educators in Prescott, Arizona.

ashley stovall Dispatcher & Behavior Coordinator

Ashley Stovall has been proudly involved in school bus transportation for nearly 20 years. You could say it's in her DNA—Ashley was a third-generation school bus driver, following in the footsteps of her amazing mom and grandma. For them, keeping students safe and on time isn’t just a job—it’s a family tradition.

After stepping away to care for her father's affairs and move, Ashley briefly explored the medical field. While she gained valuable experience, Ashley quickly realized her true calling was right where the wheels turn. That calling brought her back to the PUSD family, where she now serves as the Dispatcher and Behavior Coordinator.

In this role, Ashley helps everything run smoothly, safely, and with lots of heart. Whether it’s coordinating routes, supporting student behavior, or handling the daily challenges of transportation life, Ashley is fully committed. Every day is a new adventure—and she loves being part of the behind-the-scenes team that makes each school day possible.

When Ashley isn’t in dispatch mode, you’ll find her curled up with a good book, enjoying a glamping trip (yes, real beds and electricity are a must), or snuggling with her adorable, loving fur babies. Ashley has been married for nearly 20 years, and as the only sister to six brothers, she knows a thing or two about keeping things in order!

Ashley shares that it’s an honor to serve our students, families, and colleagues here at PUSD. If you see her around, don’t hesitate to say hello—she’s always happy to chat, help, and keep things moving!
