Day 3 and it’s still snowing!
Our PUSD Maintenance crews have called in all hands on deck and still can not keep up with the volume of snow and 12 foot piles!
Due to our inability to safely clear the areas, it is necessary to cancel PUSD Covid Child Care and Bus services again tomorrow, Wednesday January 27, 2021.
Prescott Unified School District has canceled the Covid Child Care Programs at Granite Mountain School and Prescott Mile High Middle School for Wednesday January 27, 2021, due to the winter weather storm. PUSD is working with Fann Contracting and alongside The City of Prescott in this major snow removal effort in order to conduct our programs safely.
Wednesday’s cancelations includes all bus routes and unfortunately our breakfast/lunch offerings as well. The safety of our students and staff is our main priority.
Students enrolled in these programs and PUSD childcare employees/liaisons will stay home tomorrow.
Distance Learning will run as normal, and students should log on to their classes and follow their daily schedules.
We hope you all stay safe and warm and make time to play and enjoy the snow!
We will continue posting any updates to our website and social media pages.

Good Afternoon PUSD Families & Staff,

This is to notify you that Prescott Unified School District has canceled the COVID Child Care Programs at Granite Mountain School and Prescott Mile High Middle School for Tuesday, January 26, 2021, due to the impending winter weather warning showing snow all through the night and into tomorrow morning. This includes all bus routes. While we were looking for every way to serve lunches to our students, we will apply the same safety concerns to our employees and families driving for our free lunches.  Unfortunately, our lunch offerings will also be canceled. The safety of our students and staff is our main priority.

Students enrolled in these programs and PUSD childcare employees/liaisons will stay home.  Distance Learning will run as normal, and your child/children should log on to their classes and follow their daily schedules.
