Dear Abia Judd Parents/Guardians,

This is a bittersweet ending to the school year.  As we all look forward to the summer break, it is hard to say goodbye with just an email.

I want to thank all of our staff and our families for continuing to support Abia Judd during this most challenging time.  We all came together and kept our students as the focus.  As a parent, you never imagined that you would have to be so involved in your child’s everyday learning  and for that we all want to thank you!  I am receiving many questions about what school will look like in the fall and at this time, we don’t have those answers.  Please know that as a district we will be working together to develop the best plan possible for our students.  We will share information with you as soon as we can responsibly do so.

Our school office will be closed and there will not be any office staff in the building during the summer.  If you need assistance with anything, please send an email to

If you were not able to attend our pick up day to collect your child’s belongings, we will be holding all items until we can reopen our buildings to the public.

Report cards will be sent to everyone via email on friday.  All core academic and specials will align the student’s fourth quarter grades with the grades that were issued for the third quarter.  Students who were diligent and demonstrated growth during our distance learning, may have a grade increase, this is at the teacher’s discretion. In all areas that are not considered core academic all students at Abia Judd were issued N/A.  This was an area that we did not assess during the school closure due to COVID-19. If you have any questions about your child’s report cards, please email the teacher directly.

We have not received our yearbooks from the publisher yet.  At this time we are planning on handing them out when our buildings can reopen to the public.  If you have any questions about the year or you want to purchase one, please contact our PTA at

If your child isn’t attending summer school and you are looking for some supplemental activities for the summer you can click this link PUSD At-Home Optional Activities for some ideas.  These are NOT mandatory and teachers will not be collecting the materials in the fall.

Great Expectations

It’s time to say, “Good-bye.”

Our year has come to an end.

I’ve made more cherished memories

And many more new friends.

I’ve watched your children learn and grow

And change from day to day.

I hope that all the things we’ve done

Have helped in some small way.

So it’s with happy memories

I send them out the door,

With great hope and expectations

For what next year holds in store.
