Parent Organizations
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
WTS is the one and only school in PUSD to have a Parent Teacher Organization. The decision was made to change from PTA because membership fees remain at our school. Membership dues are $5 per person or $10 per family. PTO sponsors various events throughout the school year, beginning with the Open House dinner.
Washington Improvement Council (WIC)
The Washington Improvement Council is the site-based council at WTS. WIC meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at 3:00 p.m. It consists of the principal, two teachers, one classified employee, four parents, and one community member (elected by parents).
