Frequently Asked Questions
If you are absent you have the same number of days to make up your missing work (absent 1 day, you have 1 day to make it up). The homework is always listed on this website and on your weekly assignment sheets. Work missed from an absence will show as a 0 in the gradebook until it is turned in.
I have a limited number of extra worksheets in my daily worksheet files. If there is a copy left, you may take it, but when they are gone, they’re gone. Sorry. If the assignment is turned in late, it will apply to the late work policy (see Expectations page).
Any assignment can be redone if it is turned in by the day we take the chapter test. The higher of the two scores will be recorded in the gradebook. Generally, you can not redo warm-ups, tests, and quizes.
Grades are updated
on Powerschool (password
required-if you have lost your login information please contact the office).
Also, you can ask me at any time for your grade.
In addition to the ways to check and monitor your grade on your own, I will be sending home progress reports every 3 weeks or so. They will need to be signed by your parents and brought back to school.
If your homework is
not ready to turn in by the due date, it will be counted late and apply to the
late work policy (see Expectations page). The assignment can be turned in until the
day we take the chapter test.
The assignment will show as a 0 in the gradebook until it is turned in. Be careful not to get too far behind, missing assignments affect your grade dramatically.
I am here before and after school, as well as at lunch. If you need any help at all please come in and see me. I am glad to help you. It is your responsibility to get help before the assignment is due.
