Mr. Habeck was born and raised in the Grand Canyon State of Arizona. He was the last of five kids and the first to attend university. After getting some experience in engineering he and his future wife took to traveling in the 1980's, including Eastern/Southern Africa and former communist Central Europe. It was in Africa that the desire to teach overseas was born in him. Three years later Buddy and wife Cassie, struck off for Quito, Ecuador for teaching jobs. He taught IB and general physics there. After two years the couple moved to Alexandria, Egypt where again he taught physics and chemistry. From Egypt the couple went home to Prescott Arizona for masters degrees and ten years of continued teaching. Promising their two kids, Declan and Hadley, that again they would teach abroad the Habecks spent 2005-2007 in Belgrade, Serbia at the International School of Belgrade. Home again, Buddy is happily running the computer lab at PMHMS as the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Computer Teacher.

Buddy can type about 60 WPM with 95% accuracy after practice. But at school, nobody REALLY knows who can type the fastest!
