PMHMS

Two science teachers form PMHMS received a Heritage Grant from the Arizona Game and Fish Department in May 2004 to construct a native habitat for fish and an accompanying garden of native and specialty plants. The pond and garden project, named the Mile High Harmony Habitat Club, meets every Thursday at 3:30 for one hour.
The club members are the care keepers of the pond and garden habitat. They also take data on the pond temperatures and air temperature. We are involved with the community by doing Granite Creek clean-ups, an Earth Day booth at Granite Creek Park, and helping build a trail near Yavapai College.
