The following are directions for ASSET course registration.

How do I register for courses?

  1. Begin at www.asset.asu.edu.
  2. Enter your User ID and Password.
  3. After signing in to the ASSET Education Portal, click on the Professional Development tab. Then click on the "Course Catalog" link in the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the page.
  4. All course offerings are organized into one of the three departments: ASSET, Connected University and TeacherLine.
  5. Select your ASSET, Connected University or TeacherLine course. Click on the course title for a description of the course. To register for a course, click on the Register button next to the section you wish to take. This opens a page that displays your registration options.
  6. Click on the button next to the registration option you wish to select (general or audit). Then click the Register button to submit your registration.
  7. After you have submitted your registration, a confirmation page will appear. Your registration is now complete. You will also receive confirmation by email.
  8. Once you've registered for a course, the course title will appear in My Courses. This page, located in the Professional Development section of the portal, lists all of the courses for which you're currently registered, including courses that are in session and upcoming courses that have not yet started.
  9. If you run into a problem in the registration process, or if a course you registered for does not appear on your My Courses page, send an email to asset@asu.edu or call 480-965-1004. For the quickest response, please describe the problem as precisely as you can.

When can I access my ASSET, TeacherLine or Connected University Course?

The ASSET Education Portal is available to you 24 hours a day! You can access your course on the day the course begins. You can read the course material, post to the Forum an access everything on the site until the closing day of the course.

If you are taking a TeacherLine course, you will need to create a user name and password for TeacherLine also.
