| This class is a foundation program that gives students experience in developing ideas and problem solving. The class consists of studio work, slide lectures, demonstrations, and critiques. The media emphasis is on drawing and painting, although students have many media assignments. This basic course trains students visually as they develop technical skills with various tools and media. Like professional artists, students are expected to keep a portfolio of their finest work. | |
