Students in need of information or assistance may use the services of the school advisors. It is the aim of the advisors to be of genuine help to students. Generally, advisors work with students, with no problem being too insignificant. Advisors are also trained to recognize students with special needs who can best be assisted by agencies outside the school. While advisors are assigned certain portions of the student body, students are free to make appointments with an advisor of their choice.
Advisors coordinate the school's testing program, conduct research and follow-up studies, and recommend changes in curriculum and school policies to meet student needs. More specifically, advisors work to help students select their school subject, learn about extra-curricular clubs and organizations, avoid excessive tardies and absences, understand test scores, and fulfill their potential.
