Homework
Purposeful, well-defined homework is an important part of what we teach at school. Homework teaches individual responsibility, as well as reinforcing what is learned in the classroom. The amount and difficulty of homework is determined by the grade level of the student.
Parents can help by providing a quiet, well-lit study area and by reinforcing a regular study time for children.
Make Up Work
When students are absent from school, they will be given a reasonable amount of time to make up missed work. If parents wish to pick up work from the school during an absence, please call the school so we may give the teacher time to get work together. Parents may then pick up the work at the school office between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.
