Wrestling and football require a completed physical form, parent permission form, check from parent, and proof of insurance to play. Student physicals may be obtained in the spring of each school year at Prescott High School for $10. To clear to wrestle or play football, students must bring all of the above-mentioned documents to the coach for clearance.
Each sport requires a new parent permission form and current insurance information, including policy number. If parents do not have health insurance for their child, they may purchase school insurance. Insurance forms are available in an acrylic pocket outside the attendance office and will also be sent home with each student the first week of school.
The cost for sports is:
7th, 8th Grade Football - $80
7th, 8th Grade Basketball - $80
6th, 7th, 8th Grade Volleyball, Wrestling & Track - $60
6th, 7th, 8th Grade Cross Country - $40
6th Grade Basketball - $60
Extracurricular activities are all interscholastic activities operating under the guidelines/rules or procedures established by the Arizona Interscholastic Association and other school sponsored activities in which students represent the school in competition or participation for which no credit is earned. This includes Student Council and band trips.
