Progress & Report Cards
Progress Reports
Progress report notices are mailed to parents once during each grading period. These may be sent because of poor attendance, effort, behavior, or missing assignments. Notices may be sent when the quality of a student's work is considered to be below the level of expectation.
Report Cards
The school year is divided into two semesters, with two grading periods of nine weeks in each semester. Report cards are normally given out the week following a nine-week period. Grades A, B, C, D are passing. An "A" indicates exceptionally fine work; a "B" represents better than average work; a "C" indicates average work; while a "D" indicates poor but passing work. A grade of "F" indicates failure. The grade given at the end of the semester is a cumulative grade for that semester and is the one recorded.
It is each student's responsibility to present his/her report card to his/her parent the day it is received. Report cards are not issued until all fines, fees, or obligations have been met. Final report cards will be mailed to the student's home.
