P.E. Policies

Mile High requires students to wear P.E. uniforms, which may be purchased through the P.E. Department for a fee. Parents may elect to furnish these on their own. The uniforms purchased at school have the Mile High logo on them. The uniform consists of red shorts, white tee shirt, white socks, supporter (boys), and tennis shoes. A towel should be brought from home. All articles must be plainly marked with the student's name.

Clothes should be taken home on the last day of the week (usually Friday) and laundered.

Showering is encouraged.

Students are expected to adhere to the lock policy given to them by their P.E. instructor at the beginning of the year.

Any student who must be excused for medical reasons should present a signed note from his/her parent to the physical education teacher. The note may excuse the student from physical activity for a period of not more than three days. Any excuse for a period longer than three days will require the verification of a medical doctor and a note to the school nurse.
