Make-up Work
When a student is absent, it is his/her responsibility to ask the teacher for the assignments to make up. Upon return to school, a student should request missed assignment promptly. Teachers will provide students with all assignments possible and give a due date or a deadline by which the work must be completed.
To request homework, contact the counseling office before 10 a.m. to have the homework ready for parents to pick up between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m. that day.
As a rule of thumb, teachers will allow the exact number of days to make up work as days missed (except for cases of truancy or unexcused absences). It is the student's responsibility to collect school work in advance when he/she knows of a an upcoming absence from school for personal reasons.
