GOOD CHARACTER IS REWARDED! ![]()
To encourage students to exhibit the six pillars of character, the PTA helps us sponsor our Character Cash program. If a student is spotted showing good character such as trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and good citizenship, a staff member may reward that student by giving them Character Cash. Character Cash allows students to go to the front of the lunch line or the snack bar line. Then their cash is entered into a drawing each week and they have the chance to win Harkins movie tickets.
This program is a great way to show students how much we appreciate good character at Prescott Mile High Middle School.
Character Counts!
Kids are 27% of our population, but 100% of our future. Which way they go depends on us.
Whatever happened to honesty, respect and integrity among young people? Good character still counts at Mile High Middle School. That's why we have implemented CHARACTER COUNTS!
CHARACTER COUNTS! is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, nonsectarian character-education framework that teaches the Six Pillar of Character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. The CHARACTER COUNTS! Coalition includes thousands of schools, communities and nonprofit organizations.
