The City of Prescott is planning the widening
of Williamson Valley Road in the near future. A portion of school
district property adjacent to Abia Judd Elementary School and Granite
Mountain Middle School is necessary for construction of this project.
This property is a strip of property along the west side of each school.
The City of Prescott is submitting a proposal
to purchase 7,308.9 square feet of property, purchase 2,614.2 square feet
of property for a Slope Easement, and purchase 16,226.3 square feet of
property as a Temporary Construction Easement.
Representatives from the City of Prescott will
be in attendance at the November 2, 2004, Study/Voting Session to present
additional information and answer questions from the Governing Board.
Relevant Information: In
accordance with the provisions of Arizona School Boards Association
by-laws, a Governing Board that is an active member of the Association
shall be deemed present at a membership meeting if one or more members of
such Governing Board are in attendance. On each matter presented to the
membership for vote, each Governing Board that is an active member shall
be entitled to one vote, provided such Governing Board of a school
district has paid dues as established. The right to the floor for the
purpose of discussion shall, however, be open to any and all members of a
Governing Board that is an active
member.

Sandra Hall to Prescott High School.
A computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse valued
at $300, from Joyce, to Granite Mountain Middle School.
Miscellaneous books from Mr. Larry Shermer,
valued at $250, to the library at Prescott High School.
