In Consideration of:  Approving a lease/purchase of a substitute teacher finder system.

Relevant Information:

The Personnel Department has decided to engage the services of a substitute teacher finder system.  This lease/purchase requires us to pay $19,565.88 for the 2005-2006 school year and an additional identical amount for the 2006-2007 school year.  This system replaces a four hour substitute caller position in the district.  The funding for this purchase service would come from soft capital.

In Consideration of:  Approving the recommendation for termination of Mrs. Cindy Brown, the Director of Transportation, effective April 12, 2005.

Relevant Information:

Based on evidence and information from a continued investigation regarding the hiring of a contract services employee that was a registered sex offender, it is recommended that the Director of Transportation be terminated from employment with Prescott Unified School District effective April 12, 2005.
