Information:
This item was in the
December 13, 2004, Board Briefing.
Yavapai College wishes to
lease the portable building on the campus of Yavapai College utilized by
the PEAK program. With the PEAK program moving to Bradshaw Mountain East
High School as part of the Regional Alternative Center for Education, this
portable building is now empty. With the recent passing of the Prescott
Unified School District bond issue, this portable building is not a
necessity in accommodating student enrollment growth.
Yavapai College wishes to
lease the portable building through the end of 2006 at no charge, since
they have maintained the portable building and paid all electric bills
associated with the portable building since its move to the Yavapai
College campus when PEAK first started.
Exhibits:
A
representative
from Yavapai College will be in attendance at the January 11th
Voting Session to answer any questions the Board might have. A lease
agreement was formulated between Yavapai College and Prescott Unified
School District and revisions regarding any charges can be changed.
Governing Board input and suggestions can also be incorporated into the
lease agreement.
