All students should have on the first day:

1.)     a pocket folder for social studies

2.)     a pen and or pencil

3.)     a ream of copy paper

4.)     a ream of lined paper

5.)     a box of Kleenex

6.)     a set of dry erase markers

Spiral bound notebook (college ruled)
Filler paper (college ruled)
Colored ink pen (red, purple, or green)
Pencils
Colored pencils (small set)
Kleenex tissues

Math/Social Studies/Science:
Three one-inch 3-ring binders with pockets
1 box #2 pencils
2 red pens
1 composition book
1 set of colored pencils
1 package of loose leaf paper for each binder
2 spiral notebooks (8 ½ x 11)
1 calculator (basic 5-function)
5 black or blue ink pens
1 highlighter

Language Arts:
One composition book (different/separate from the journal)
One 3-ring binder, 1 inch or wider
College ruled loose leaf paper
A personal journal (this can be as simple as a spiral notebook)
Pens and pencils (black or blue ink)
Red pen for revisions and editing
Highlighter
Colored pencils

Optional supplies: Kleenex, large cozy pillows for the reading corner, markers, pencils and pens for classroom use
