Granite Mountain proudly offers the following sports:

Track - Grades 6, 7, 8
Basketball - Grades 6, 7, 8
Wrestling - Grades 6, 7, 8
Football - Grades 7, 8
Volleyball - Grades 6, 7, 8
Cross Country - Grades 6, 7, 8

Our 7th and 8th grades have teams that compete interscholastically in football. 6th, 7th, and 8th graders participate in basketball, volleyball, wrestling, cross country, and track.

For interscholastic contact sports (football and wrestling), it is necessary for each student to have a medical release form (physical) completed by your doctor, medical insurance, and the school-supplied parental permission form. All sports require medical insurance and parental permission forms. A physical is recommended for other sports as well. Athletes are required to read and sign the Code of Conduct for Student-Athletes for Parents/Guardians. These codes are to be followed at all practices and games. More specific information will be given during try-outs for each sport.

Interscholastic sports in Prescott Unified School District are set up on a pay-to-play basis. Should the fee create a hardship for the family, parents are encouraged to contact our school's athletic director.
