PTSO Annual Projects
Band/Music
PTSO donates money to purchase a wide array of items such as shirts and instruments.
Book Fairs
PTSO volunteers assist the school librarian, Mrs. McCready, every year.
Box Tops
PTSO encourages students to bring in box tops from food products that pay 5 to 15 cents for each box top. Parents administer collection containers and send in box tops.
Character Counts
Parents volunteer in the classrooms to give mini-lessons on character.
County Fair Tickets
PTSO volunteers order, sell, and distribute fair tickets on campus.
Creative Arts/Career Day Day
PTSO volunteers help organize, host, and donate money toward this very worthwhile and educational event.
Art Festival
PTSO promotes student art through an art fair in which student works are displayed for viewing. Parents help organize and promote this event.
D.A.R.E.
PTSO volunteers help organize, host, and donate money for the program and graduation.
Field Trips
PTSO donates money for the trips and supplies volunteers to chaperone.
Grocery Store Cards
PTSO provides forms for parents to sign up at local grocery stores. PTSO receives a percentage of all money spent when parents use those stores.
Ink Jet Cartridges
PTSO provides collection boxes for students to bring in empty cartridges. PTSO receives cash back ($1-3).
Math Challenge
PTSO donates money annually to this event that celebrates math achievement in 6th grade. Parents also help the day of the event.
Parents on Campus
PTSO volunteers assist school staff and teachers in supervising students during lunch break.
Registration Days
PTSO volunteers help organize and hand out information to all students, including class schedules, PE uniforms, bus schedules, cafeteria info, student handbooks, PTSO events, and other information helpful to students and parents.
Scan It At Granite
PTSO volunteers help organize and host this event during which students have a chance to explore the campus prior to the start of school.
School Dances
PTSO volunteers help chaperone and work in the snack bar.
School Picture Days
PTSO volunteers assist the photographer and staff for fall and spring photos.
Special Teacher Requests
PTSO donates money ($100 per teacher) every year for use in classrooms. PTSO also grants some requests for additional items needed in the classrooms.
Sports
PTSO donates thousands of dollars towards sports uniforms and equipment.
Teacher Appreciation Luncheons
PTSO volunteers bake delicious foods and host these special luncheons for our teachers who work so hard!

PTSO volunteers organize, host, and donate money towards this special ceremony for our 8th graders.
