National Junior Honor Society
The National Junior Honor Society is composed of 7th and 8th grade students who have been selected to join based on the following requirements:
Students must have a semester GPA of 3.75 or higher.
Student must be enrolled in regular education courses.
Student shall have received no written referrals for the current school year.
Student must have attended Granite Mountain for one semester before applying.
The application process for each year is conducted during the second semester. Students are invited to apply for induction, and a decision will be made based on their application forms. Once inducted, members attend meetings as well as taking part in school and community service projects throughout the year. The National Junior Honor Society sponsor is Miss Juli Bais juli.bais@prescottschools.com. NJHS officers are elected each spring for the following year.
