The weekend kicked off with a well-attended mixer at the Lariat Food & Spirits. Classmates began catching up on the last 30 years. Saturday began with a golf event and hike. A reunion banquet at the Lariat started at 6 p.m. and carried on well into the night. Terry Owen was voted classmate who had changed the most, while Lori Moore had changed the least. The events culminated with a family picnic at Goldwater Lake.

That Was One Big Party ~ a thank you from Larry Hefley

It has been 6 weeks since the reunion and I have finally recovered enough to send a summary.

It was great seeing everyone who attended. We have a class of amazing looking women and handsome guys who are mostly aging gracefully. I was amazed how many people have changed very little. Most attendees still talk the same and even think similarly to when we were in high school. The best part was maturity has nearly eliminated the "competition" to see who has done the best. I think most everyone is happy and has done well.

We have started planning the next reunion in 2011. A vote was taken at the banquet and a 35th reunion was requested by an overwhelming majority. We wiil probably move it to the middle of July since school starts earlier than ever.

This will be my last announcement as my gold classmates membership expires soon. It was my pleasure being the reunion contact.

Thank You
