I graduated from the College of Santa Fe in 1981. I taught school in NM for one year before moving home to Prescott, where I substituted at PHS and coached the distance runners on the track team. I actually had my brothers in class and coached one of them on the track team...what a trip that was.
I then caught on with Parks and Recreation full time and the rest as they say is history. I worked for twelve years for the City of Nacogdoches in Texas, before moving to NC where I was employed by Mecklenburg County Park and Rec for 18 months. I have been Director of Parks and Recreation for the Town of Davidson since September of 1997.
Terrie and I got married on October 11, 2002. That was the "first day of the rest of my life"! Life is good when you have someone who truly cares and wants to share it with you! We moved from Charlotte to Davidson in the summer of 2005. Davidson reminds me of the Prescott we all grew up in.
