We Love the Arts

Each week, students at Abia Judd receive Art and Music instruction from specialists in those fields.

In art, students work with many media. They study master artists and also study color, texture, shape, and style. Student artwork is proudly displayed throughout the school. Each year, the Abia Judd Art Show features several works by every student in the school.

Students explore the elements of music, rhythm, harmony, and notation during their weekly music classes. They play a variety of instruments, sing, and dance. Classes are given the opportunity for musical performances for the school and parents several times throughout the year.

Our PTA sponsors the Artists in Residence program in which a variety of artists come to the community and perform for our school. Each student in the school has the opportunity to see several performances during the year.
